As part of upgrading to the latest version of the Fabasoft eGov-Suite, the existing online services of WKOÖ and WIFIOÖ were considerably enhanced.

WKOÖ and WIFIOÖ have been using Fabasoft eGov-Suite products since 2003. Subsequently, the basic services were made available to members, customers and trainers. By February 2010, the first online services were provided, for example electronic apprenticeship contract service or electronic business registration. From July 2010 to June 2011, the existing solutions were expanded on the basis of a new product version of Fabasoft eGov-Suite. Besides implementing both generic output management and dual delivery, the online services for customers, members and trainers were also considerably enhanced.

The new features in the member portal include extended services for events and courses. It is now possible to register companies for WKOÖ events or WIFI courses and to make multiple registrations for these. The features of the trainer portal concerning planning and electronic accounting were expanded to meet trainers' needs. Trainers can now even be assessed online. In addition, ePayment services have been provided, which enables online payment by credit card courses and events. The services for members of the Chamber of Commerce were enhanced by making certificates of origin available online - a great efficiency boost for both members and employees of the WKOÖ.

WKOÖ and WIFI provide support for a total of more than 60,000 members, some 70,000 event participants a year and about 2,400 trainers. THese new services are another important step in simplifying both internal and external processes.
