Fabasoft eGov-Suite provides both a platform for the development of custom applications as well as open and standardized interfaces for connecting existing custom applications

Functionalities

The interfaces are based on open standards (http(s), XML, SOAP, WebDAV…) and allow a swift and economical use as a service-oriented architecture (SOA). Additionally, vendor-specific interfaces (e.g. SAP-docking via ArchiveLink) and the integration within the Windows work space (e.g. print archiving) are provided.

Lower Saxony

Niedersachsen-EUDLR

The EU Services Directive had to be implemented by the end of 2009. The Directive specifies the provision of a contact point for service providers to simplify start-up procedures and the carrying out of their work. The state was in search of a customized application to support employees of Lower Saxony in handling requests that could also be made available to employees of the points of single contact at municipal level as a further option. Further to the satisfactory experience with Fabasoft eGov-Suite for the electronic file (eAkte), Fabasoft received the order to execute the project. It was then possible to realize the requirements of the EU in time and optimize the services accordingly.

Upper Austrian Provicial Government

Upper Austria

The Department for Housing Grants at the Office of the Upper Austrian Provincial Government processes about 50,000 applications per year. The comprehensive and bulky files had previously been processed and stored as hard copies. Responding to individual, case-based information requests was often only possible by return call after retrieval of the file or a lengthy waiting time. The sought after a solution was to improve the efficiency in processing applications, reduce throughput time and enable access to ad-hoc information regardless of location. Based on the existing Fabasoft eGov-Suite solution an integration of the specialist application was developed, enabling immediate information to be provided as fast as possible and shortening the cycle time significantly.
